Very promising young sprinter Daniel Schorn has been a part of Team NetApp since the team’s founding. During his first season he achieved three wins for the team: He won two stages at the Tour de Slovaquie and one stage at the Tour de Normandie, thereby showing that he could deliver some surprises even on difficult terrain, in addition to his qualities as a sprinter. Daniel’s 2011 season started out on a promising note when he placed third at the Tour de Rijke. However, a crash at the Österreich Rundfahrt resulted in a long break due to injury.
