Ralf is one of six German riders on the team and will bolster us in the sprints. We have a very strong team in place for next year that will be able to set the pace on the approach to stage finishes and set our sprinters up for wins in the bunch sprints. Ralf showed his explosive qualities as an U23 rider, and this year he made our life difficult during a couple of stages. He has therefore earned the chance to prove his talent with the pros. While Ralf is still quite young, he is definitely very ambitious. With Russell, Johnny and Ralf we have strengthened our capabilities considerably in one-day race sprints.
