Jan Bárta has been part of our team since its beginning in 2010. Jan proved his talent as a time trialist by winning the Czech championship title for the second year in a row and also winning the road race as well. He put his abilities as an allrounder to the test in 2013, when he placed second overall in the Circuit de la Sarthe and finished third in the general classification of the Bayern Rundfahrt.  As an aggressive rider, he feels comfortable being a part of breakaway groups and distinguished himself in that way by getting his biggest win to date, a second place on stage 14 of the Giro d'Italia 2012.

Cesare Benedetti is an all-round rider with special qualities on short climbs, which brought him some successes back in 2009: For three days, Cesare was the overall leader at the Baby Giro and claimed two second-place finishes at the Trofeo Piva and the Giro della Val d’Aosta. In 2012 he claimed a fifth place in the sixth's stage of the Giro d'Italia and most recently he claimed second place in the overall Mountain Classification of the 2013 edition of Tirreno-Adriatico. He has been one of the most loyal riders for Team NetApp-Endura since the very beginning and can be counted on in any situation.

One of our newest team members is considered to be one of Ireland's biggest new cycling talents. Sam Bennett is already a two-time national under-23 champion and has also been able to take several wins as a junior, among others his title as a junior points-race champion on the track. Bennett started his career as a Stagiaire at team Française des Jeux, before joining Team An Post - Sean Kelly, later named An Post – Chain Reaction, where he stayed for three years. Sam Bennett showed that he is not only a fast sprinter, but also one with great climbing abilities, when he celebrated his biggest success yet, winning stage five of the Tour of Britain in 2013. On the eighth stage, he proved himself to be a strong finisher, when he came second only to world-class sprinter Mark Cavendish. Sam showed great consistency in his young career and thus will already be able to take responsibility in races that suit him.

Iker is probably one of the most experienced riders on our team. He previously rode at ProTour level with Phonak and Euskaltel-Euskadi, completing all three Grand Tours as one of the main domestiques. He can succeed in all disciplines, especially time trials and in the hilly stages. With Team NetApp – Endura he will continue to share his experience with the younger riders and will support Leopold König in the mountains.

David de la Cruz started his career as a cyclist in the year 2010 at the ProContinental Team Caja Rural. He has shown tremendous ability in the first three years of his professional cycling career, recently with his fourth place at stage 1b of the Giro del Trentino as well as placing ninth at the seventh stage of the Tour of California. David showed great form at the Vuelta a España in 2013, before he was forced to drop out of his first Grand Tour due to knee problems which he overcame by now.

Like many Australian riders, Zak has a background in track racing. He is an allrounder who can be relied on for many different tasks. While riding his first Grand Tour at the Vuelta a España in 2013, he managed to place tenth at the 12th stage and finished the three-week race as a great support for the team. He proved his consistency with five more top ten places and had a very successful season overall in his first year at NetApp-Endura.

Bartosz Huzarski is a specialist in hilly terrain and time trials. As an allrounder he has been part of Team NetApp-Endura's Grand Tour participations and managed to attain podium placings on both occasions – a second place at the tenth stage of the Giro d'Italia in 2012 and a third place on stage 16 at the Vuelta a España in 2013.  In 2012, he got sixth place overall at the Tour of Britain and second at the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali. Bartosz has regularly been part of breakaway groups is known as a hard-working, reliable rider.

Blaz Jarc started his professional career as a stagiare at Team NetApp in 2010 and has been part of our line-up ever since. In 2013 he was able to score his second professional victory at the one-day classic GP Stad Zottegem after winning the Porec Trophy in 2011. He managed to place inside the top ten at another nine occasions in 2013, among others a fourth place on stage seven of the Tour of Britain. Blaz is an allrounder, who can also do well in time-trials.

2013 turned out to be an extremely successful year for Leopold König. After coming fourth on stage two, he went on to win stage eight of the Vuelta a Espana in his first Grand Tour and thus gave the team its biggest success to date. He finished the Vuelta a Espana on ninth place overall among the world's best climbers. Earlier in the season he won the Czech Cycling Tour and the queen stage at the Tour of California. Long, difficult climbs suit him best and he will surely be able to show more of his talent in the upcoming season.

The 28-year old Portuguese climber Tiago Machado will greatly contribute to our line-up. In the season of 2013, he took the mountain jersey at the Tour de Wallonie as well as at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec and also ranked inside the top ten at four other races. He reached another six top ten placings during the 2012 season at high-class races, among others a third place at the Tour Down Under. Tiago is not just a great climber, his strengths also lies in time trials. He was Portuguese U23 national time trial champion twice and won the title as an elite rider in 2009. His strengths lies in shorter stage races, as they suit him very well, but he can also be a big help for Leopold König during bigger races or Grand Tours.

Ralf showed his explosive qualities as a U23 rider with the Thüringer Energie Team, before he joined Team NetApp-Endura in the year 2012. While Ralf is still quite young, he is definitely very ambitious. He got five Top-10 placings in the 13-stage race Tour of Qinghai Lake in 2013 and placed tenth at Rund um den Finanzplatz Eschborn-Frankfurt. He is part of our classics line-up and proved himself valuable on several occasions this year.

Johnny is a fast finisher who typically prefers sprints out of smaller groups. He likes hilly terrains and heads for breakaway groups, so he remains a perfect fit for the classics group of Team NetApp – Endura. He has been a great support for the team in 2013 and will continue to help them to achieve good results in 2014.

Jose is a very talented climber and has also proven himself to be one of the most important domestiques in the team during the Vuelta a España 2013. He helped Leopold König retain his ninth place overall and did not disappoint as a reliable support for the whole team. He showed his climbing skills at the queen stage of the Vuelta on the ascent to the Angliru, where he finished seventh. Jose is a great allrounder who can deliver good results when he rides on his own account, but can also support the team very well.

We know Frantisek to be an experienced rider with qualities on any terrain. Above all, he is strong in the mountains, which we will use on tours for our classification riders. Of course he will also have the opportunity to ride for himself, to further develop. So far we’ve had a lucky hand with the Czech riders we’ve signed. With Jan Barta and Leopold König we have seen both cyclists develop from the amateur level to riders who now guarantee top results in the biggest races. A development, we hope, Frantisek Padour will also be able to achieve.

Erick, aka Ricky, shows maturity and experience beyond his 23 years. He raced many years with the British National team where he learned the craft of becoming a professional cyclist. In 2012 he showed great potential by winning a stage at the Tour de Normandie, as well as two second place finishes. Erick has proven not only that he can win races on his own, but also that he can be counted on for great support for the other riders. He shows good sense and acumen in summing up a race situation. His calm and relaxed personality makes him popular with all his teammates.

Our very promising young sprinter Daniel Schorn has been a part of Team NetApp-Endura since its beginning in 2010. His sprinting abilities have led him to two second places in 2012 at the Vuelta a Andalucia as well as at the Tour of Austria. He then went on to attain another great result with his second place at the last stage of the 2013 Tour of California. In 2013 he also managed to place fourth on stage four of the Tour de Pologne.

Michael Schwarzmann found his way as an up-and-coming rider on the Quest-Ralph-Denk-Team to Team NetApp-Endura in 2010. The 22-year old sprinter from Bavaria got five top ten placings in 2013, after bouncing back from a long injury break. Michael has proven himself as a great team player, who is disciplined and eager to help.

Scott's riding career began in triathlons, where he showed the talent to become a pro cyclist. He likes the hills and also being in the breakaway. He is a fast finisher and  part of the classic division of Team NetApp – Endura, where he acquired some great results in 2013. His eighth place at stage four of the Tour of Britain as well as a second place-finish at the tenth stage of the Tour of Qinghai Lake proved his qualities as a young rider.

Paul, or Vossi, as everyone is calling him, is a true all-rounder - capable of succeeding in any cycling discipline - classics, tours and one-day races. He can be a good domestique for his team as well as going for victories himself. Vossi was discovered as a U23 talent in Germany and then made his way to the first division Team Milram. He rode there for two years winning the prologue of the WorldTour race Vuelta Catalunya and wearing the Giro d’Italia mountain leader jersey for four stages. After Team Milram folded, he found a new home at Endura Racing where he raced two years. In his first season with NetApp-Endura he attained five top ten placings, among other an eight place on stage 17 at the Vuelta a España. Paul found his way back in the highest level of racing comfortably and will surely be able to get further great results in the future.

Gregor Mühlberger joins our team as a stagiaire (trainee) from August 1, 2014. Being the national Austrian champion in the U23 category, Gregor rides a great season. The talented rider has proven his strengths in all GC deciding skills, either as a climber who became the famous “Glocknerkönig” in the Tour of Austria or in time trials by winning the silver medal in the national championships even in the Elite category. The RideLondon classic will be the first race, Gregor competes in for Team NetApp – Endura.

Alexander Krieger joins our team as a stagiaire (trainee) from August 1, 2014. Alex has proven is skills as a sprinter and classic race contender. By sprinting to 4^th place in this year’s German national championships he only barely missed the podium. Alex scored some Top10 results in high-level classic races in Germany and the Netherlands in the first half of the season which qualified him for the trainee spot in our team. The Belgium autumn classic Brussels Cycling Classic will be the first event, Alex competes in for Team NetApp – Endura.
